Public Records Request

Check out Public Records Act Idaho right to examine Title 74-102.

Idaho law provides every citizen with the right to examine and copy public records in the County’s possession so long as the records are not exempt from disclosure under Idaho law. Citizens wishing to inspect and/or obtain copies of public records must contact the County office where the records are kept and submit a request in writing. The custodian of the records then has three working days to respond to the request, and under certain circumstances may charge a fee for copying and labor costs associated with the request.
