Detention Deputy: Application Deadline February 15, 2018. We are currently hiring for one Detention Deputy position. We are seeking qualified law enforcement candidates to be a part of our professional law enforcement team. Detention Deputy is a full time position 40 hours/week FY18 wage $26.75 per hour ($55,640 annually); raise upon certification to $27.56 per hour ($57,325 annually). Lateral DOE $57,325-$70,000. Rotating schedule includes days, nights, and weekends. Patrol Deputy: We do not currently have any patrol deputy openings, however we are always accepting applications for future patrol deputy openings. Patrol Deputy is full time with rotating shifts. Compensation includes full benefits with medical, vision, dental, life, and PERSI retirement. Candidates will be required to successfully complete a written application, physical fitness test, written basic skills test, interviews and a background investigation. Our staff includes 66 professional, sworn men and women dedicated to the concepts of personal excellence, continuous improvement, teamwork, and service to our community. In our Patrol Division deputies may work as traffic patrol, investigations, on marine patrol, snowmobile patrol, or search and rescue. In our Jail Division deputies may work performing duties in our detention facility, on prisoner transport, or as a court bailiff. We also employ a civil processing division, drivers licensing desk, records division and other administrative office staff.
